One little monkey in MY BED!
Can someone please tell me why is it when DH puts DS in bed... he stays there all night w/o a peep- however when I put him to bed- he wakes to come in my bed (No matter how many times- i sneak him back into his crib)
I actually asked DH if when he puts him to bed he gives him drugs... lol
Ds will never allow DH to put him to bed if Im home- he is such a mama's boy...So I told DH from now on- Im leaving at bedtime-because I want THIS MONKEY out of my bed!
He sleeps with his feet in my face and his face by my knees... therefore I cant even put my covers on me

Re: One little monkey in MY BED!
He probably does it because he knows that you'll give it!
There are definately things that EMily does with Daddy that she doesn't do with me....because he's just such a softie!!

Thats what DH says- but do they really know how to take advantage like that at this age?

Re: One little monkey in MY BED!
They just learn it! Just like when they are infants they learn that they can cry to be fed ..... It's just instinct!
I say you should have DH put him to bed more often so you can sleep with the covers on! It's getting cold outside.
Also have to admit that when Emily has a problem sleeping through the night we take her in our bed...and she sleeps upsidedown too. It's so silly.

Re: One little monkey in MY BED!
So true! On the weekends when DH puts Roman down he stays for the night. I don't get it? Unfortunately he doesn't get home from work until it's way past his bedtime during the week. I laughed about the feet, he always kicks me, head butts me or will stomp his feet on my face Gotta love 'em

Close his nursery door then he can't escape until he masters the knob.
Jack's never slept in our bed. Dh is 100% aganist it, even our kitty and dog sleep right outside our shut door. and Jack's door remain closed until 9am when we get Jack in the morning and we find him playing in his toddler bed with his trucks. He jumps out of bed around 8:30 when he wakes up and grabs some toys and jumps back in bed.
Sounds like your little man is manipulating you.

He screams bloody murder in the middle of the night...
Im a huge believer of CIO- but this is on a level far above CIO...
