One more question- the nose bulb thing
SCARES THE CRAP OUT OF ME.
Im afraid Im gonna suck his breath out or suck his brains up...LOL
I know Im being dramatic, but he had some snot, I tried to do it, and I couldnt, he looked at me , like please mom, be careful and I didnt accomplish getting much out.
Is this neccesary if there is not that much in there? Just a little?

Re: One more question- the nose bulb thing
If you get Saline drops, and put a few drops in, it will loosen the mucus and it will come out on it's own.
I used to use the aspirator, but now I use a Q-Tip.

Not necessary at all to use it! My doctor recommends against it because their little noses are sensitive and the stuff works its way out on its own. Maybe if there was a serious illness, but not for everyday stuff...

And a lot of times the boogies come out during tummy time, LOL. I don't know what it is, but if I couldnt' get it out, I'd put him on his belly for a few minutes and they would be all over his face

Re: One more question- the nose bulb thing
We only used it on DC when they couldn't breathe through their noses at all. Not for minor issues.

At the hospital, they recommended against using it too much - only if the baby can't breathe because of the snot.

Same here. I haven't used it once.
