One of my favorite students left today
He wasn't supposed to move until after the new year but the secretary called me to say that his mother was discharging him today..When she called me I got choked up and almost started crying...he was in the office so she sent him up...I was so upset

getting attached to students is heartbreaking when they leave

I lost four students. I work with students in every grade level, I dont have a classroom. Two are going to other schools in our district for Special Ed, and two are moving.
The students in my district are constantly moving. I would love to work with a student, and see them through to graduate 6th grade.
