One of my poor students
was home alone watching his younger brother and sister when his house caught on fire  It was an electrical fire and he got them out safely and ran to his neighbors house. Luckily he is fine but they lost everything  I cannot imagine this child's bravery at 13-14 years old. I just feel so awful for them- we are taking up a collection for them at school and reaching out to the local mall and restaurants to see if any of them would like to help. They are temporarily living in a hotel until the insurance company and give them a trailer to live in.
If you could just say a little prayer for his family that they get back on their feet quickly that would be appreciated.
