Re: Onion smell on hands
I have the "Rubaway" bar from Crate and Barrel. I think it is just stainless steel, shaped like a soap bar. I know this won't help for today....but wanted to share.
sorry...tried to put the link, not working. If you search rubaway it comes up on their website.

Re: Onion smell on hands
Crabtree and Evelyn sells this great soap specifically for getting odors like that off your hand. It's called something like Pink grapefruit and cucumber. I've tried everything and this was the only thing that worked for me.

Re: Onion smell on hands
fresh lemon juice.
For onion or garlic on hands, rub a fresh cut lemon all over your hands and they wash with soap. You will have no more onion or garlic smell...plus no lemon smell too! HTH

Williams Sonoma also sells that kind of soap too.

vanilla! It takes the smell of coffee out of rubbermaid pitchers, and the pickle guy used it to get the pickel smell off his hands in crossing Delancey! It realyl works!
