Open House Alert
thought i'd share this with everyone on here, as there are some homeowners who do their own open houses:
OPEN HOUSE ALERT
PLEASE BE AWARE OF A THEIF ATTENDING OPEN HOUSES !! ON SUNDAY, A 30-40 YEAR OLD WHITE MAN WAS ATTENDING OPEN HOUSES IN THE HOLBROOK AREA AND STEALING THINGS FROM THE HOMES. HE ATTENDS THE OPEN HOUSE ALONE AND CLAIMS HE HAS A PREGNANT WIFE AT HOME. HE IS MEDIUM BUILD WITH BROWN HAIR. APPEARS SOMEWHAT NORMAL, BUT ACTS A LITTLE STRANGE . HE TAKES HIS TIME IN EVERY ROOM, (APPARENTLY LOOKING FOR THINGS TO RIP OFF) HE ACTS LIKE HE'S ON THE PHONE WITH HIS WIFE. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION AND WATCH YOURSELVES. CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY IF YOU THINK THIS PERSON IS IN THE HOME!!!

That was my biggest fear when we were selling.
Before I stared showing the house I took our silver, china, jewelry, all of DH's recording equipment and instruments to my IL's. Nothing of any real value was left out.
My house had no knick-knacks and nothing of value so much so two people wondered if anyone really lived there

This was our fear when we lived in a house that was for sale. We rented and were on our way out when the landlord mentioned he was going to start having an open house...we said HELL NO! Not while our "stuff" is there!

realtor really don't follow people around the house. too many people and distractions.
