Open house + beautiful day=nobody shows!
Oh well. My sister sat with me (DH is away) and we had a good time watching Real Housewives of NYC! I'm not surprised no one came with how beautiful yesterday was. On to next weekend!

We actually enjoy going to open houses when it is gorgeous out.
We went to one yesterday and the entire block was full of people looking at the house. There must have been 10 couples in just the 20 minutes we were there.
Where is the house you are selling? Was it listed on MLS?
Hopefully next weekend you will have better luck

Well we're doing it by owner so I only listed it on craigslist (and LIF/LIW), but about 10 people responded that they were coming and asked for the address. Since It's not on mlsli yet I can't be too upset. We've had a ton of people come to past open houses which is why I was a lil bummed. But oh well-we knew doing this ourselves would take a lot of patience.

No it was in suffolk county

We looked at 2 yesterday and both times we were the only ones there. The sign in sheets looked like there was some activity going on at the open house though.
We looked at one in Levittown (ISland Trees) and one in N Wantagh.

Awww, sorry about this. When we sold, I remember so many people never showed up, or bothered calling the realtors to tell them they weren't showing. I was in the early stages of pregnancy too, and so many days I just wanted to stay home and nap.
I guess I'm just trying to say, a lot of people say they will look at your place and change plans, especially if the weather is nice. But I'm sorry this happened!
