My answer is absolutely NO stockings, but I don't think that was the answer you were looking for!

Re: open-toed shoes and stockings question

I have toeless stockings. They have a loop that runs between the big toe and the one next to it. That way my toes are free but I still have the benefit of stockings. An example

Re: open-toed shoes and stockings question

I agree with the pp no stockings with open toe shoes but if you must wear them I would get the sandal foot style without the seam across the toes.

I know I'm in the minority of ladies who still wear pantyhose when dressing up, even with open-toed shoes. The type that you want are called sandal toe.

I'm another one who always wears stockings dressing up. Whether I wear open toe or not. I really don't like how my feet feel in shoes without stockings. I don't like when they get all sweaty from dancing or from it being hot out and then my feet can't move in the shoes and the shoes get tight, etc. I know others look at me like I am gross, but I don't care. I also like how the pantyhose keep everything tight and smooth! I do usually try to buy closed toe shoes, but sometimes not.

Re: open-toed shoes and stockings question

Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs rocks!

But I know it's cold out now- but I'd still brave it with no hose- esp with open toe/.

It's instant so no need to do it early like a tanner.
Shower, put some lotion on- let the lotion sink in for a good 5-10 min
Then just spray in your hand and rub on your legs.
Do it near a window or door though- NATURAL light.
I once did it in the bathroom- it looked great and then I go outside and Chat Icon - streaks and missed spots everywhere.

Washes off with soap, water and some rubbing.
