opinions needed on Father's day dilema
hannah has 3 sets of grandparents. so it makes mother's day and father's day very difficult. i dont want to travel to three places in 1 day anymore. it was easier to do before the baby. dh is not really cooperating with coming up with a solution.
i was thinking of asking his mom and step dad over tomorrow afternoon for cake and coffee, and then spending sunday with his parents and then going to see my parents. but i dont think my dh is going to go for that.
any ideas?

I think you came up with a good solution.
Is it possible that the 3 sets could come over for a BBQ on Sunday? It does blow the whole weekend for your DH (who is a dad too).

This is what I'd do. If one set doesn't get along with another I'd speak to them and explain that for Hannah's sake they need to learn to be civil when around each other, since they are going to want to share her birthday, school events, etc with her.

I dont know how far apart everyone lives but could they all come over tomorrow evening for a BBQ OR could you see one set tomorrow then maybe two sets sunday morning giving you and your DH the afternoon to yourselves?

Re: opinions needed on Father's day dilema
Last year (the week after father's day) was my FIL's 50th. The boys rented a limo and took him to a Yankees game. The game got rained out and they were told they could attend ANY game over the next year. The brothers decided to take him for father's day. DH told them he was NOT attending. This is, after all, his first "true" father's day. (I have a 6 year old daugther who he's helped to raise since she was 2)
I was shocked when he told me his decision, but impressed.
With a child of his own, maybe it's time your DH has his own father's day instead of worrying about everyone else's?
I like your "solution" as well to be honest.

Re: opinions needed on Father's day dilema
unfortunately i cant host a party. my parents are going to my uncles, and my dh's father and stepmom are going to their daughter's inlaw's house. plus, i just had 50 people last week at our house for hannah's bday. my dad was away that week so i really want him to be able to spend time with hannah.
