Opinions Needed re: Kitchen
We just moved into our tudor style house. The kitchen has all new SS appliaces, but the cabinets are OLD, the floor is off white vinyl-ish stuff, and they painted the backsplash tiles white -
The kitchen will obviously need a complete remodel at some point, but it's not an option right now .....
SO, I'm looking to sand and repaint the cabinets (wood underneath is not good enough to stain) change the hardware and paint the walls for now -
The rest of the house is painted in BM shade of brown - I like deep colors, but I'm really not sure what to do w/ this kitchen - Those painted whitel tiles are throwing me off !!
- Any ideas ?

how about a sage green? or a warm beige / tan ?
I think that would go w/ the brown in the rest of your house and the white backsplash and floor tiles.

You can replace the bavcksplash VERY cheaply. Mosaic is really easy or you can just buy some plain tiles at Home Depot.

How about a bright loud color for the cabinets make them funky, you can change the back splace for inexpensive or rip down whats there and just sheetrock it and paint do its clean
