Opinions on Asia Moon?

DH and I are thinking of going there with our families for our birthday on Tues. (yes, we have the same birthday...day and year! ). We're vegetarian and have never been there but the menu online looks good. Any opinions from those who have been there?

Have you found any great vegetarian restaurants or veg-friendly places we should consider? We've been to Zen Palate a million times, though it's still good, and not long ago found a place in Bayshore on Montauk Hwy that had some good veggie dishes (ie. tempeh rueben, etc.). I forget the name now but can get it from MIL if you would like.

I don't really know many veggie places on LI... just in the city. Would you be willing to travel??

I also find that nicer restaurants cater to a vegetarian-- granted when I go, I am the only one so it's not like they are making everyone somehting special.

When I am on LI, I generally just eat italian. Although I have had some good meals at Six Degrees, Besito, Palm Court at the Carltun.

Hmmm I didn't remember them having that large a vegitarian menu - it is a mix of asian foods. Honestly it was good but I am not sure I would say great - we tried it once a few months ago - but we like the Orchid better.
