Opinions Please!!!

I know I don't post too often, but wanted to hear opinions on this. I am currently looking for a new job for higher pay, just found out I am pregnant and I am not sure what I should do now. Do I continue to look for another job or should I just stay put until I go on Maternity leave. What is the most logical thing to do? Help please!!! TIA

Do you get paid maternity leave at your current position? Are you currently eligible for FMLA?

Do you have sick/vacation time stored up that you could use (also)?

How are the conditions at your current job?

Yes, we get paid short-term disability and I am eligible for FMLA.

My PTO will replenish in November, so I should be good with that

The job is not bad at all, I go home at 4pm and my boss is really nice, I just needed more money, you know how that goes, never satisfied. I was figuring maybe I stick it out because who knows going into a new company I may not be covered for maternity since most places require you to be employed with them for a year right...

Yes, you need to be at a new job for a year to qualify for FMLA.

Anyhow, from what you describe, I would stay put where you are.

Especially if you have a nice boss! You're very lucky.
