Opinions please

OK so here is the situation.......DH and I have 2 daughters 9 and 4
starting about 2 1/2 yrs ago I was telling DH I want to TTC he said 2 kids were enough and we are comfortable (moneywise) with 2 yadda yadda yadda.
I would ask him all the time to just think about it in the meantime his sister (my bestfirend) had another child whom my DH adores and is my godson and DH's brother just had a son who is my DH's godson that he also adores
Now all of a sudden DH WANTS A BABY LIKE now
So I am very excited about this but I told him I want to wait to TTC until April because we are going on a family vacation in July and I dont want to be HUGE (I gained 125lbs with each pregnancy and I am only 5ft3) I would like to do it right this time and have the nursery set up and have my body in shape etc. Last 2 times were a surprise and we lived with my parents.
so DH is so upset that I want to wait and I feel myself giving in but thats not what I really want.....what should I do??
I mean it is only a few months to wait for a lifetime of happiness right??

I feel that if you waited this long for him that you would want it either way...right? your body is going ot do what if wants even if you lose the weight. You need yo make healthy choices while your pregnant too. Besides who says that your going to get pregnant on the first try anyway..it might take you longer. if u wait it might take twice as long. IMO i think u should start right away. I wish i did, and now its been six months with no baby

I was 17 when I had my first child. Then 21 with the next and they were SURPRISES.......nothing was the way it should have been (like people being excited,baby having its own room ,us even being married)
So we are in the middle of construction at the house and it should be done by April....we are doing a lot of the work ourselves and I dont want to be painting while I am pregnany and doing strenuous work either.......I guess I am asking how I can make him understand....He gets so upset when I say few more months

We have been baby shopping for 2 weeks whenever he has free time thats what he wants to do he bought a piggy bank and a few other things already so I am feeling so guilty for not TTC yet

oh I just got a call from DH he said he has a present for me and I said is it baby related and he said of course....he is so excited!!!!!

i think you should tell what your are saying right now about the house and getting things ready. Tell him about how u want to be prepared unlike the times before Or may u can compromise and start in March.

I have to say that all I have ever wanted was for him to be excited about having another baby and now he is so I think I may just scrap the plan and go for it

by the way the present was 2 pregnancy books on eating right
I saw them in the store and said I wanted a book so I know what foods to eat and what foods to avoid
