Opinions re: the Babies R Us picture place -
I got a GC @ my Baby Shower -
I'm kind of a photo snob so I probably wouldn't go on my own and PAY for it, but it was a gift -
What's the best time to take Sean?(almost 7 months) i'm guessing I should take a day off and go in the middle of the week to avoid a line -
What's the process? Is this like a 10 minutes sit and smile for the camera thing? Or do they take the time to do cute stuff? Do I tell them what I want, do they suggest props ?
Obviouisly I've never done this before -

I actually love the way my kiddie kandids photos came out every time. They use whatever props you want (they are all on a shelf) and they DO take their time, at least they always have for me!
And usually its a young, energetci girl who really gets the kids to smile!

I couldn't get a newborn shoot in time with the photographers of my choice, so I did mine at Kiddie Kandids in Commack. They did a great job. They posed her just how I wanted and gave me suggestions.
I was happy with them and was able to use on for my DD's birth announcement. You may be pleasantly surprised.

They will work with you. I came in and told them exactly what I wanted and what to do practically. I just was using them for their props, backdrops, and equipment but I knew what I wanted You can change the outfit once. They also have great ideas and know the best positions, etc.
I would def take a day off and go during the day. Esp this time of year.
If you go to Massapequa my favorite photgrapher from Walmart just went there. Her name is Sarah. I love her!!!! She is great with the kids.

Their photos come out pretty nice and they have cute backdrops. They are EXCELLENT with kids...they know how to get that full face smile out of them...the whole photo taking process was appx. 10 minutes and we changed his outfit once...We're taking DS to Kiddies Kandids for his holiday pics this year...bc SOME people are fully booked
