OPK readings
I tried to buy the Clearblue OPK, but 2 stores were out so I bought one made by First Response. My question is, am I just an idiot or are they really hard to read? The lines are almost identical. DH and I were both scrathing our heads. Any tips?

Okay, glad to know it's not just that I'm incompetent.

Re: OPK readings
LMOL!!! OMG, I was going to post the same thing! I just took one but the line looked a little lighter than the test line and I'm just constantly staring at it trying to figure it out.

What's really weird is that half the line is dark and the other half is lighter!!!! I'm going to go get the clearblue ones, but just for curiousity sake I am going to continue to test with the first response ones also to see if there is ever a difference.

Re: OPK readings
IMO the fertility monitor is truly the best way to go, but if you don't want to spend that much, then the next best thing is the digital clearblue opks (they are 40 dollars though).
The line can be the same as the control but usually it's darker, when you are surging....
Just keep bding, until your temps show an adequate shift...on your chart

Re: OPK readings
I agree- I would look @ it and say - is the 2nd line darler- when should we bd? Etc---
I think the smiley face one is good as well as the clearblue easy fertility monitor
keep bd'ing

Re: OPK readings
Oh god I love you for saying this. I felt like an idiot waking my DH up every morning "honey do these match or is that one a little lighter!"
