OPK test question
So I decided kind of late I wanted to TTC this month but now I think I missed my ovulation.
I am cycle day 12 and my cycles have been 27, 26 and then 25 days for the past 3 months. Anyway I took an OPK yesterday and the second line wasn't darker. That was at about 12 noon. I took another one today around 9:30am (not FMU) and the second line was lighter than yesterday. I'm thinking I ovulated early since the line is lighter?
Any insight? I didn't think I cared but now that I decided I wanted to TTC I'm kind of bummed I may have missed my window.

OPK is supposed to be afternoonish...I like to take it around 2-4pm..you DO NOT need FMU for those..try again tonight and see. GOOD LUCK!

It sounds like you might have just missed the surge with the OPK. Try again next month and start testing earlier.

I would at least try another test mid-afternoon time. You should get a more accurate reading.

when you get a positive OPK, it does not mean that you are currently ovulating! It means that you are going to ovulate in the next 12-36 hours.
Therefore, if you just missed the surge by one day, you could be ovulating right now. I would BD tonight and tomorrow am......you may be ovulating right at this moment! YOu don't know for sure b/c you never got the positive opk, but just because you missed the surge, doesn't mean you missed O.
