2. When can you use it?
3. If i got AF on January 5th....when can i use the OPK and when do you think i will ovuluate???
As you can see.......im CLUELESS!!!!
Thanks for your help!

Re: OPK's for a newbie
everyone here seems to be fond of the opk's with the smileys but those are too $ for me every month. so i use the first response opk's. those are about $18 for a 7 pack at target. BUT they are kind of a PITA because you have to compare your test color line to the reference line and i swear it'll drive you bit nutty wondering if they're the EXACT same color or not lol.
if you want to get an estimate of when you'll O i would put your info into mymonthlycycles.com and they should give you a round about date on when you should O. everyone is different, but for me i usually O around cd 12.
when you use the opk, make sure that you test in the afternoon and try to hold your urine for about 4 hours before testing. that way you'll get a more accurate reading.
good luck!

Re: OPK's for a newbie
I had started with the ANSWER ovulation sticks. they were pretty reasonable on drugstore.com and i could use my FSA card for them. However, the 2 lines confused me b/c it never seemed dark enough compared to the test line.
So i bought the clearblue fertlity monitor. It was worth the investment for me. takes the confusion out of all this.
