Oprah yesterday - Dina Matos McGreevey

Anyone watch? I am dying to read her book. I know there are 2 sides to every story but from what she says he seems like a snake. One thing I couldn't get over though is she had this medicated looking blank stare the whole time she was on...like a half-smile...Oprah was really interrogating her.

Yes, her lack of emotion was odd

I do feel for her but i feel like she ignored a lot of tell tale signs herself.

She never saw where his parents lived and she never met his older daughter from a prior marriage THAT IS CRAZY, dont you want to know who you are marrying?

I think it takes two to tango and I think she created a lot of her own hell as well.

I was frustrating to watch. I think she was there just to promote her book and to make money off of it.

I mean why else go on Oprah when you know that she will ask what everyone wants to know, if you dont want to talk dont go on.

I watched it and I dont know, I felt bad for her to be honest. I'm sure there are many other women out there who have had men in their lives cheat on them, not know, and then once they found out, were in a deep "fog" as she said. I'm not surprised that she would remain the bedroom with him --- she must have been torn. Aren't there couples that try to make it work afterwards and still live together?

I also think that Oprah inserted her own opinions, such as "I wouldn't stay in the same bed with him."

Although she said that she knew it was over, maybe a part of her that she won't acknowledge, thought that she could change things or was unable to accept that she had to move on.

Alot of political couples are all about the "show" and she probably was wrapped up in it.

I can't wait to read the book!

I watched the 1am rerun - I feel like Oprah was really on fmr Gov. McGreevey's side.

Can you IMAGINE what it would be like to be in that poor woman's shoes right now?! I think the worst part was when she said that HER marriage was real while apparently his marriage was just a big farce. She loved him.

I thought it was pretty sad and I felt for her. That must be so hard to go through esp. in the public eye. When she was talking about when he came out to the public and rehersed with her what she should say if asked a question I couldn't believe it. I guess that was her normal life though, being told what to say and do.

I felt bad for her....she really did love him...But her NEVER meeting his first child or NEVER going to his parents house??????????????

I watched a little bit of it.

She seemed still very angry at McGreevey. I felt bad for her, a little.

She said she had seen a draft memoir he was working on and said he married her just for political gain.

It was interesting to see that he was planning a party for his 1st wife and kept it all a secret from Dina. That was terrible.

To me, he just seems skeevy overall.

I didn't see it...but, I did see when she had the man himself on. And, after seeing what a COMPLETE and horrible sicko he was I feel terrible for her. He sat there and read an excerpt from his book about having sex in his OWN HOME in his OWN bed while his wife was in the hospital recovering from a very difficult c-section after just giving BIRTH TO HIS CHILD.

That show shook me up so much - to think someone was sick enough to do that and then to put that in a book and read it on oprah so his poor child could hear about it over and over again...sick, sick, sick.

Ok, sorry for the rant I am just so utterly disgusted by this man

Yes, she does seem slightly dim, but she is the victim in this situation. I believed everything she said. McGreevy is a master munipulator. Scum.
