Opthamologist Rec in Suffolk?
Please recommend an opthamologist in Suffolk for me. I suffer from extremely dry eyes and have torn my cornea in the past, which aggrevates the condition. My eyes are so bad that I literally have to open my eyes physically (lower lid) every morning (or else the cornea starts to pull away from my eye and gives me extreme pain) and immediately put drops in my eyes when I wake up. It is horrible and I feel like it is getting worse! Help!

Re: Opthamologist Rec in Suffolk?
I know you said Suffolk but would you consider Manhattan for a consultation? I have dry eye too and I go to an amazing dry eye and corneal specialist. He's great and an absolute expert in the area. His name is Dr. Robert Latkany and his number is 212 689 2020. If you tell his staff you are in that kind of pain he can probably get you in right away. Feel better soon. I know how painful dry eye can be.

Thank you! Isn't it the worst?! I'll have to check if he takes my insurance but if he does, then maybe he can squeeze me in next week. Fingers crossed!!
ETA: I cannot believe it, but he actually takes GHI! Thanks for the info!
