Optimum $24.95 internet
Does anyone know what the deal is with this? I keep seeing commercials and ads in the mail for 24.95 home and on the go internet. Is it really that cheap? What's the catch?

They couldn't pay me to go back to Cablevision.
It probably is that cheap for a year if you can stand a year of your modem dropping signal all the time.

You must have lousy wiring in your house or a splitter that's leaking signal. I have had Optimum internet for years, never really had any issue.

Also as an aside, The Free Wheel phone sucks.
I ordered to try for a few months and it doesn't work in many places. DH and family were annoyed that they could never reach me.
I have a thing about spending so much for a cell but after lots of positive feedback from here, I went with MetroPCS and chose $40 plan.
Unfortunately cable prices are what they are though.
