Organic restaurants
I am looking for some restaurants that serve organic and healthy foods. My mom is on a strict diet now and I want to be able to take her out somewhere.

How far are you willing to go?
You can do a search for Long Island Organic Restaurants.
They are mostly in the city. There is one called zen Palate in Westbury and there seem to be a couple out East.
The Tiger Lily Cafe is kind of an artsy cafe in Port Jeff, but nothing fancy and I believe they close by 5.

An organic cafe just opened up in Islip called Generation Organics on Montauk Highway. I've been meaning to try it!

You can go to Angelicas Kitchen in NYC, thats pretty good. Its Vegan and Organic.
