OT - Does anyone know anyone who's had Uterine Cancer
My mom just came from the dr's and she may have uterine or some other lower body cancer (bladder. kidney...).
She has survived so much - breast cancer, heart disease, heart bypass not to mention raising two daughters alone while going through all that...when will she catch a break and just be able to enjoy life.
Please keep her in your prayers and hopefully her tests will come back negative on Monday.

I'm sorry to hear that!
My grandma had it about 20 years ago, and after intense radiation, she is now 79 years old and still running strong! She even has all of her own hair and teeth.

for your family
My mom had uterine cancer. They did a full hysterectomy, and she just got her "graduation certificate" for 5 years cancer-free! FM me if you want any of her doctor info. She has a great a oncological gyno & a great oncologist.

I do know someone. She had a hysterectomy a year after delivering her son. She's going on 5 years post op. No signs of it spreading to other organs.
I think the hardest part was emotional - having a 1 year old & not being sure what the future held, the loss of having a brother or sister for her son, etc.

My aunt had it - they did a complete hysterectomy and she's been cancer free for the last 15 years.
