Ouch!
Do the Progesterone shots always hurt so much?
I thought she was going to give me the little Ovidrell shot this morning. Instead she whipped out this big-a$$ needle and told me to drop my pants.
It hurt like a monkey!! And it still hurts 3 hours later. 
Was everyone's this way or do I just have a sensitive a$$??

Mine do, not the shot itself so much but afterwards I'm so sore sometimes it hurts to walk a day later. I think it sort of depends on where my dh sticks me. Sometimes I have no pain other times a ton!

I stopped taking the shots a week ago today and I am still hurting
Also, DH went in the wrong spot in my butt and hit a nerve. Dr says I woun't get feeling back in that nerve for about 6 months

I know.
I said to DH, "Well, at least now I know what you will be doing to me if we have to go to IVF. And at least I've had a professional do it so I'll know if you are doing it wrong!!"
The subcutaneous (SP?) ones don't really phase me, but the intramuscular ones freak me out.

OK so there IS an advantage to being fat -- the PIO doesn't bother me at all!! I just never, EVER look at the needle.

holy c rap!!!
Usually mine dont hurt at all. I did get really itchy at the site afterwards and sometimes it would hurt. BUt on a good day I felt nothing.
