Our first parent teach conference
And my girl is, to quote her teacher, a "superstar"
She is the youngest in her class, so I was a little worried she would be a little behind, but she is at the head of her class and her first report card was "advanced" for just about everything.
I know its only kindergarten and things may change as she gets older, but I'm so proud of her

That's great! You have a right to be so proud!
DH went to Nate's conference last week and he got similar comments from the teacher. She said that he's so well behaved that wanted to take him home to teach her son a few things.
I was out of town on business and he was so excited to tell me he got straight A's. I'm so proud of him because we thought he might have a little trouble in the accelerated program because he's one of the youngest. More than half of the kids in his class are already 6 and he won't be until June.

That's fantastic!!!! I wish that was the kind of conference we had in store for us, but I know we'll probably get a mediocre report. Give that kid a high 5 and a lollipop!!!
