Our Baby Boy Is Here!!!

Our little girl.....
lost her first baby tooth the other day. She was playing fetch with DH and he looked down on the carpet and saw a little white thing and picked it up and saw it was a tooth. We opened her mouth and saw that she wasn't bleeding, and there was an empty area where the tooth was.
The vet warned us this would happen, as she gets older. It still took us by surprise, though!
So, my MIL told us we should keep it and have the doggy tooth fairy give her a treat at night for the tooth. And that we should keep it and show it to her when she's older. We gave her a treat, but tossed the tooth.
Is my MIL nuts, or am I just not with it?

But do you plan on showing them to your dog when they become a senior dog???
It's actually a cute idea to have a baby album for your puppy. I wish I had thought of that before.

Well she's not senior but I have let her sniff them.

Nope, although that one went to the vet for worm testing!
