Thanks ladies!!
The paint is "Citron Ice" by Glidden (at home depot) - amazingly I let DH pick out the color and he did a pretty good job!
It took about 2 months on his part from start to finish, but he also works 2 jobs so he wasn't consistent working on the basement. He dedicated maybe 2-4 days per week to the basement.
Hope that answers everyone's questions!

2 months! so there is hope.. our basement is just a barren concrete space right now. I hope it looks that good in two months!!
Did your DH do the windows himself?

Did your DH do the windows himself?
Yup. He did all the windows and doors himself. He did EVERYTHING, from the electric, to the plumbing, all the drywall, spackle, etc. He even built a new set of stairs because the old ones were crooked! 
It would have taken MUCH longer if he didn't have that guy helping him though. The guy isn't a professional - he was one of the helpers of the company we used to renovate our rental property. He's a very reliable, hard worker, so DH asked him if he was interested in helping, and paid him $100 for each day he assisted.
