Our new porch / deck!
Our "front" porch / deck is actually on the side of our house. The house is built sideways on the lot so the "front" door sits back from the driveway. The previous owners never put in a walkway - just a dirt path to the stairs. We waited to do anything because we wanted to change the deck to add stairs to the front corner.
I'm thrilled with the outcome - it looks so much better. Next step is to add a paver walkway and improve the plantings. We used Correct-Deck composite decking - hidden joints so you don't see all the screws on the surface.
