Our New Retaining Wall - Flower Beds (w/pics)

Well our retaining wall blocks were delivered on Tuesday, so we took off today to start to put the blocks in place. We had to take away the wood that was there. We love how it is coming out so far. Now we just need to finish the rest of the beds. Chat Icon

Here is what it looked like the when we bought the house. Glad to see that the previous owners took care of their property. Chat Icon

This is what it has looked like since the fall.

Now this is what it looks like with the new retaining wall block. DH was putting up the last blocks. Chat Icon

Thanks! The black thing is Gardening fabric that you can buy anywhere. It helps prevent weeds and so does the mulch. You don't have to use the fabric. If you are just using mulch make sure you put down 3 inches that way it keps the weeds from coming up and helps to keep your plants cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Chat Icon
