Our renovations so far... UPDATED w/Before Pics
So, we bought an insurmountable fixer-upper in the fall. I mean, seriously, trees growing out of the roof, chain smokers, 3 dogs, 4 cats peeing and pooping everywhere, severe water damage, you name it. Though, we did get it substantially below market on a short sale.
We've been gutting it, and slowly building it back up. Here are some pics of our progress so far 
Ist two pics are the new family room
3rd is the new mudroom
4th is the new lower floor guest bath

Yeah, we literally had to strip every room down to the studs and rebuild - the house is in PA.
I think I have before pics at work so I'll post them tomorrow - we reconfigured most of the house though by tearing down some walls and building walls in other areas so you can't really compare room to room with before and afters though...

Ok, so here are the before pics, which don't really show you anything because we took down several walls so these rooms no longer exist. And they don't show how bad the house was, because these pics were taken about a year before it went to hell...
But, here they are...
First two are pics of the outside - you'll see the garage isn't even finished. The guy who lived here was a contractor and built a new 2 car garage, but never finished it - it's still just framed, with no siding.
The third pic is the front door hallway
Fourth pic is the dining room

Master bedroom
Family room
Family room/bar (we took out the bar and made this part of the family room into a guest bedroom/guest bathroom)

Dining Room
Not doing much to these rooms other than paint, new fireplace mantle, new french doors leading to the patio, and took down the wall between the kitchen and dining room to open up the space. Image Attachment(s):

wow... holy white paneling every where. No wonder you ripped it all.

Yeah... aside from the fact that it was infested with the smell of smoke, dog/cat pee and poo, and was covering some massive water damage inside the wall! 
Oh, and that rug on the floor of the family room... you could literally SEE the fleas hopping around on it
