Our Tree!!!! Every year we have to add more lights!! Fixed with picture!!
DH & BIL added like 5000 more lights last week!
ETA that these are still all MIL decorations. Once we renovate, then I get to do my thing!!! Unfortunately, this may have to be the last year for the tree It will likely need to come down when we dormer the house...DH is not happy Image Attachment(s):

Thanks!! It takes them forever to get the lights up....the tree is WAY bigger then the house!!

That's awesome!!
The use a huge rented Home Depot ladder & extension poles with hooks!! Lotsa powerlines near the house too, so that makes it harder!

Beautiful...your DH sounds like mine, he will be devestated if we ever have to cut down any of the giant trees in our backyard

I feel bad, but since we took over his parents house & we need to dormer it, the mold that grows on the house because of the tree is a BAD thing!
But at least it looks pretty for Christmas this year!

? I notice you have swag lights - we just bought them from Harrows and I wonder how you guys straightened them out - they are so twisted and don't lay evenly on a curve.
I love those Reindeer too - I really want them! i can't find them on sale anywhere though

Well thelights are across the gutter, so they are in a straight line. My BIL puts them up and I think since he got them untwisted (just a LOT of patience!!), he folds them to store them, so now they are always straight!
