Our trip to beaches Jamaica may be cancelled...UPDATED
Well, last week DS had fevers for 3 days. 101-102. Ped thought coxsackie but he never had any other symptoms. Fever was gone for 4 days. Yesterday, fever was back. Last night 102.8. This am 102.1. We have been giving tylenol and motrin. No other symptoms just fever and cranky. Ped appt this am at 8:30am. We are supposed to leave tomorrow for 5 days. Please pray that DS is ok. And that we can still go on vacation together.
UPDATE:THANK YOU everyone for all your prayers. It looks like DS has a viral infection in his throat. But just in case they put him on an antibiotic because his fever came back again and because we will be away and they don't want us to have a problem. Ears were clear. WE GOT THE OK TO GO AWAY THANKS EVERYONE!!!!!!

It is very common with coxsackie for the fever to return for a day or two, but it also means that you're on the tail-end of the virus.
I hope it works out!

I hope he feels better. My DS had a virus last week. It lasted Wed-Fri AM and he's been great since the fever broke. We did the motrin/tylenol and we needed to keep him hydrated.

That's what Steven had. It was followed by a rash (not irritating). Rosiola. Ped said it's been going around. He was fine other than being tired. Once the rash came out, he was back to normal. Though it wasn't comfortable to look at, he was fine.
