Our trip to Tackapausha last week...
I love that place. We always went when we were little. Andrew had so much fun and for $2 per adult, it was great

It's a Nassau Cty museum and preserve in Seaford.

It is great there!!!! My grandparents lived in Seaford so we went all the time and now my parents just last year moved there.
Andrew loved the bats Me, so not much And the owls.
And on the weekends they have the bird feeding shows and almost all the time they play a nice little movie in the theatre.
They also have a pathway behind the museum that leads to the park. It was too cold the day we went so we didn't do that but we will

I was telling my mom about this today and she said it was 25 cents per adult back in the day 
Seriously still a great price for such a cool place. I really do love nature and attribute it to time spent here. One Halloween they had a little bat and a bat talk- it was so interesting.

We went there on school trips when I went to Fairfield. I still live in Massapequa and never thought to take my kids there. My youngest might like it.
