Our Xmas Card and a Printing Question (fixed w/pic)
Well DH totally came through and desinged a christmas card for me! I think he did a nice job for not being very "artistic". He's an engineer so this was a stretch
So my question is where can I get this printed since it has to print 5x7 ( i think). Or if any photoshop experts can tell me how to print a smaller size and not distort images.

i would upload to a place like vistaprint or ofoto, snapfish, shutterfly, etc. and get a sample.
however when creating the image to be printed one must have the correct specs and resolution to avoid blurriness and/or scale issues.
is the document size a 5 x 7 with 300+ pixels/inch?
Will they have envelopes to fit? I am asking my DH about the pixels

what he needs to do is start with the above specs when creating his canvas in photoshop to get decent quality...maybe he can quickly redo it?
He says he's going to redo it when he gets home. Now to solve the envelope problem. Also on vistaprint I don't see where you can print it as a photo unless you get it with a holiday card framing. Anyone?

on vistaprint there is an upload your own design option and here are the specs. i have never used them but know other people who have. i would probably get a sample from them and a sample from ofoto or snapfish to compare quality. there was another poster who metioned she was going to use vistaprint, but i forget who...
i get my envelopes at places like paper access or print icon in the city, but wouldn't craft or stationary stores carry them locally?
OK envelope problem solved and hopefully we'll solve the card problem tonight and get them ordered.
