We did it a few days before 6 weeks after AF came for the 1st time. I had my pp check up a few days later and the dr asked me if we resumed activities....  I just kinda brushed it off and didn't answer her.

I was told to wait 8 wks bc of the c/s...and we did. I wsant in a rush bc i was really sore and recovering very slowly.

I dont have any desire either It stinks. Plus the fact that I know DH would just LOOOOVE to get me pregnant realy REALLY soon isnt helping me any. The pain of laboring for 22 hrs is still to fresh in my mind.

We waited 5 weeks and a day to two. The first 20 times were EXCRUTIATING. I even want back to the dr in June (6 weeks was May 1) b/c it hurt so much. It got beter shortly after. I tore my cervix and they did a lot of sewing. Back to 100%...

I answered other because:
I had a c/s the first time, so we didn't wait the 6 weeks. We were both ready to resume activities again....
this time, I had a vaginal birth and we definitely waited the 6 weeks. In fact its been 8 weeks already , but I am waiting for the doctor to get my Mirena UID in so I can get that in and then feel more settled that I won't get pregnant!

I waited 11 weeks b/c the first time I tried after 6 weeks I was to scared and anxious it was going to hurt and it did so I made him stop and it took a few weeks to want to try again. Plus I had absoultly no desire but that is slowly coming back.

I did because I was paranoid of the stitches/pain, etc. I also didn't stop spotting until just before my 6 week checkup.
Believe me I WANTED to, but was too scared.....

It was more like 10 weeks with my 1st. I was scared. I think the 2nd was around 8 weeks, don't remember.
