I am pretty sadden that I didn't discover this site until now almost three years AFTER the fact. Grrr I would of loved to have a neo victorian/steampunk themed wedding then again my husband wouldn't allow me to do that so irish vintage wedding it was!
Anyway for those planning that happen to shy away from the norm in life or those who just like to look at really cool stuff...

I went to this site a lot when I was planning indie bride
It is a pretty interesting place with some great ideas, although there were also a bunch of things that I wasn't interested in. I have issues with hardcore feminism, well hardcore any "ism" actually

I frequented Offbeat Bride a lot while planning. I never really posted on those chat boards though.

My gosh, when I got married the internet barely existed, and a blog, well, no one had heard of a blog (oh, and I am celebrating my 11th wedding anniversary today) but I could totally have had my wedding on one of these sites! It was totally offbeat and a bit irregular!
