outdoor cat enclosures/fences, etc? Also funny pic of Stubby
Does anyone have any of these? My cat now that we got her used to being indoors is getting chubby. I try to get her to play (we used to do 45 mins of playtime when i get home from work) now she just lays there and plays with her front feet but doesn't run around. She occasionaly uses the laser tag and runs but maybe for four mins. I cut her food back, next step is diet food but I want to maybe put her back outdoors but safely so she doesn't run into my neighbors yard or worst yet the busy street we live on.
I think she misses being out there too and now warm weather is hopefully on the way we will be outdoors and I feel horrible not having her with us outside.
I love her - Look what i can do pose!

You could do what Kittythestray did...
I don't really know anything about them, I just wanted to post that.

I wonder if we can make a screened in porch and not have to apply for a permit in our town, i have a small overhang porch in the back and if i add to it - it might work! Thanks for the idea

Kitty has that too. You should look at her photo album, it's just an open structure built on top of a flat surface.
I could be wrong (and every town code is different) but if the structure isn't permanent and you don't put down a new floor like a deck or patio underneath, it would probably be fine. I'd check to be sure, but I have nosy neighbors that would be curious about things like that!
