Outdoor Fireplace/Fire Pit

Anyone have one?
I want to get one for DH for Christmas and I see they are made with either clay/stone/terra cotta, cast iron or stainless steel.

Which would last the longest?
TIA

Link to the ones in Lowe's

I like this one too. Our neighbors had one that turned rusty and gross after it rained on it a few times, I dont remember what it was made of and I dont want that to happen.

Do the terra cotta ones turn black outside too?

Re: Outdoor Fireplace/Fire Pit

Mine did not turn black but it does have some rust but we have literally left the thing out year round for 3 yrs. I'm sure if you took better care of it it would do better. And I said the terra cotta ones get black. Mine is not black pretty much the same color as the pic.
