Outlets. Ar they worth the drive??
I've been contemplating going to Woodbury Commons or Tanger Outlet.
Are they worth it? Is one better than the other? I don't want to waste my time if I can't get a good deal.
Any other outlets that are better??
TIA!

I think Tanger is worth the drive. But I go with an open mind. I never expect anything and sometimes I end up with nothing. But we only go a few times a year. I don't go to the outlets for holdiay shopping.

It depends on what you want to buy. I have gone out there for clothes & come home empty handed, but when I went for my home goods, I came back loaded with great stuff. Also I find the Coach & Juicy outlets to be hit or miss.

Hit or miss, but it's worth the drive. I used to live 2 exits from Tanger, and would go to Banana Republic weekly- I got the BEST deals.

I would say take the drive, you never know what you will find out there It can be a nice drive and a nice way to spend the day.

I Like Tanger better, used to manage one so I shopped daily LOL, best stores for guaranteed NICE stuff and deals: DEF BUY A COUPON BOOK and if you are a member of AAA you will get an additional FREE coupon book- go to visitor's center and just show them your AAA card.
Ann Taylor Banana Rep Old Navy Gap (now in Tanger 2, MUCH BETTER) Anne Klein- great deals on shoes Tahari Off Saks Ralph Lauren Lenox Guess Time Factory- watches Movado
Kids: Childrens Place- AWESOME SALES OhKosh Old Navy Gap Carters Nautica Kids
Ok: Coach- sometimes good deals

Re: Outlets. Ar they worth the drive??
I live 6 minutes away from tanger so I shop there regularly. Stores that almost always work out to have great deals for stuff I need for myself, DH & our older kids ann taylor gap old navy timberland american eagle aeropastle pacific sun casual male coach nike
I have the luxury of going at 9:00 in the morning on a wednesday when nobody is there, so its never packed & aggravating.
I always have the coupon book, its $5 & you get one for free when you pay to got to splish splash, also sometimes in the newsday fun book there's a coupon for a free one. My co-worker who is a major shopper went to woodbury a few weeks ago & she said it was really good.
