Overdue by a week with update from doctor
So, I just got back from a long appt with my doctor- I am 41 weeks today...
They did an ultrasound and the baby is thriving...enough amniotic fluid ..everything looks great...
They did a nonstress test too and again, things looked good...
The internal exam showed that there is no progress- cervix is still long...minimal dilation...
SO, my induction is Friday, but they want me to go in to the hospital Thursday night so that they can insert cervidil to ripen cervix.
I have another ultrasound and Nonstress test Tuesday to see if there are any changes.
Sooo, still hoping DD comes on her own, but if not, there is an end in sight!

good news then!! i was supposed to be induced on a saturday...but surprise - friday came and dd came on her own...you are so close!!!

Thanks I am so excited....most likely at this time next Friday I can finally be holding my baby!
