Overnight parking in port jeff?
I grew up in the area but never go there now. I am taking the ferry to CT Thursday evening and coming home on Friday. I don't need to take my car because I'm going with my business partner and we will take his car.
I would like to park my car near the ferry so I don't need to get picked up on Friday. The ferry website says there maybe parking available for a fee. Does anyone know how realistic it is to get parking there?

It's .25 every half hour in the designated lots. You shouldn't have an issue. You can pay by credit card too - just punch in your parking spot number into the machine.
They are very strict with parking so make sure you're all paid up before you go.

If you are a Brookhaven Town resident, you can park in the town lot for free.
