Overnights? Does everyone use them?

Umm stupid question.

Do you need to use them?

We change AJ around 8:30-9pm then don't touch her until 7am. I admit a least two or three times a month she leaks all the way through and up to her belly Chat Icon But those nights are always when we changed her earlier (say 7:30) and she fell asleep early after drinking a lot of milk (8oz +). Its almost like we knew it was going to happen.

Last night she had lots of milk so I changed her in her crib at 10pm (she slept through it). She seemed upset and when I walked in she was sitting on her knees with her pacifier just making whiney noises. Once I put her down she fell back asleep then I changed her and she stayed asleep. Makes me wonder if being wet woke her up. Chat Icon

Anyway... Should I be using overnights? Does everyone use them? What age did you start to use them?

I have never used them and DS has never gone through his diaper. We put him down at 8PM and he sleeps until 7AM. He is only 11 months, maybe this will change as he gets older?

Yup - started at around 7 months when he was peeing through the regular diaper at night and would wake himself up because he was wet and uncomfortable. I love them!

Sometimes. IF he has milk right before he goes to bed, then yes. If he drinks milk at dinner time and not after, then I just put a regular diaper on him right before bed.

Started using them around 10 or 11 months when DD started leaking through regular diapers.

We started with Huggies Overnights, but now I'm loyal to the Fisher Price overnights! Love them!

Never needed them with DD but after a few leaky nights with DS I started using them.

we don;t use them... She is in her diaper for 12 hours and we occasionally get a leak, but rarely. And it's not bad if she does leak (so far anyway). If she isn't eating that whole time, her diaper isn't too bad.
