Overprotective Husbands?

Anyone else out there have an overprotective husband?

I was planning on going into Manhattan today (had to get work done on my laptop and needed to be in the office), then I was going to take the subway to the Bronx to visit one of our stores.

DH absolutely did not want me going into the Bronx. I think he was afraid I would go into labor on the subway and be far away! (I am almost 38 weeks).

I actually found it to be cute! I ended up not going to the Bronx, did what I needed to do over the phone. I think they freak out when they are no longer in control of things!!!

My DH gets very protective over me now too. I think it's cute and sometimes downright ridiculous but I know it's because he loves me...

I give you credit for wanting to take the subway to the Bronx at 38 weeks! Chat Icon

I actually think I am in denial that this child is supposed to be here in less than 3 weeks! It's so unreal to me! But I have to say I find my DH's overprotectiveness to be quite adorable!

Isn't it weird how they don't seem to care at times, then suddenly want to put us on bedrest? Chat Icon
