Ovidrel shot
Was not covered this time. Its 105 dollars. I find that very odd that they'd cover it once and not the 2nd time. @#!*? Insurance!

Re: Ovidrel shot
i know kraupners told me that my insurance company would only cover Ovidrel once.. so I paid for it out of pocket.. that's the pre-filled syringe..
The 2nd time I triggered I used the kind you mix yourself- it seems sccary but it isn't- and got it from my insurance company's approved vendor and it was $10 co-pay..
have the doc call your insurance company and ask what would be most affordable- Dr. B did it for me, that's how we found out about going through my insurance's mail order.

Thank you! With any luck I won't need a 3rd, but if I do I will certainly ask dr b about that. Great info thanks again

Re: Ovidrel shot
I don't think mine was covered either. I paid $90 through Metro Drugs on Lexington Ave in Manhattan. They mailed it to me FedEx overnight and I wasn't charged shipping.

Re: Ovidrel shot
If it's not covered, get it from Freedom Fertility Pharmacy - 800*660*4283. It wil be $45 and they will ship it to you next day for free.

Re: Ovidrel shot
Ask if the IM HCG is covered. For me the HCG is $10 and the Ovidrel is $50, so I just tell the doc I need the HCG shot.
