Ovulation pains????
Those that have them, what do they feel like???
Is it like a short quick pain, or does it last a long time??
I have a dull sharp pain on my right side, but it's been that way since last night. Is that an ovulation pain or is it just gas???

Its a pain on my lower side that lasts as long as I am ovulating - this past month I had the pain for about 2 days...it is very obvious to me when I am ovulating because of this pain.

i think it definitely could be ovulation pain, but i wouldn't place much stock in it as a predictor of the specific day of ovulation.
i get similar pains every single month, and i thought they meant i was ovulating. but since i started using OPKs, i've realized that the pains come the day before and the day of the surge. so i guess they're pre-ovulatory pains... you might want to correlate your own pains to your cycle using OPKs, charting, etc, and then they might be more useful as secondary fertility signs...

i get ovulation pains for a week or so. Im not sure how they really correlate since I haven't used OPKs yet.

When I would test using the OPK, I got the surge and then within a half a day I got the ovulation pains....

ditto...i have been getting these pain all day today but according to OPK...no go
