Ovulation question
So I've dtd on the 8/10/12/14. According to mymonthlycycles I'm supposed to Ovulate today. I used an ovulation test (for the first time in my life) last night and this morning and I did not get a smiley. I'm assuming I ovulated already.
I don't know what I'm looking for but ummm help lol

You could have. The only way to know for sure is by temping. Perhaps you can try that next cycle if this isn't your month. Good luck!

I used to ovulate on Day 17 or Day 18 and the only way I knew was from temping and using ovulation tests from about day 12 on. I was relying on my ovulation app when we were first TTC but the first month I got the timing down with ovulation tests (I ovulated at such a different time than the app told me I would), I got my BFP.

When did the app say you ovulated? I think I ovulated a few days ago. My cycle is now 31 days with an occassional 29/30 day-er in there.
With my first I wasn't trying but I wasn't preventing and then my 2nd was a complete surprise. I never did any of this.

I just calculated- and my average period is 29 days not 31 like MMC says.
So I def ovulated already.
Oh boy.... now we wait.

My cycle was only 26-27 days and it had me ovulating on day 13 or 14, but it was a good 4 days before I actually ovulated according to OPKs. I just figured it was because the app assumes ovulation at day 14 even though it was always good at predicting the day I got my period, since I put my history in it. Whatever the reason, it just didn't work for me.
I just opened the app by accident and it told me my period is 50 days late.

Don't go by the apps. They are notoriously incorrect and are only correct for some people, not most.
The only way to know for sure if you're about to ovulate is to use an OPK and temp.

This exactly. Those apps can not really know when you ovulate. Use the OPKs and temp if you really want to know.

Ovulation question
depends on which clearblue smiley test you used. If you used the one with the blinking smileys, you need to start using them right after AF ends because it registers your previous results in it's "computer" and will show a smiley when your LH is higher than the previous days.
If you get the regular clearblue smiley test, you can take it any time and it will show a smiley if you ovulate. If this is the one you took, you either missed ovulation, or you need to keep testing just incase!

So my af is due about the 28.
Seriously god bless all of you who have been trying for months. I am the most impatient person and just waiting a week and a half is torture.

Yup! Agreed! I went months TTC and nothing. I thought I wasn't ovulating at all. Turns out that i wasn't ovulating when I thought I was based on the Apps and OPKs. Temping is what told me i was ovulating and with the OPKs and Deanna's Plan, I was able to get pregnant.
