Owen Wilson Rushed To The Hospital For Alleged Drug Overdose
Kate Hudson’s ex-boyfriend, Owen Wilson, was rushed to the emergency room in Los Angeles’ St. John’s Hospital by ambulance on Sunday, sources tell the National Enquirer and Star magazine exclusively.
Wilson is being treated for what is described by a close source as “a very serious condition.”
Police were present at the hospital and at least one well known Los Angeles criminal attorney was also there.
The prognosis at first was grim for Owen but it has now been upgraded. Wilson has been stabilized and was just loaded in an ambulance from St. John’s and is on his way to another Los Angeles-area hospital. “Officially this will be called dehydration but we’ve learned exclusively that he will be detoxed,” the Enquirer tells us.
Sources tell the mags that Wilson sliced his left wrists and took an indeterminate amount of pills.
Owen was discovered by a family member who summoned help.
Police and an ambulance responded to a 911 call from Wilson’s house in Los Angeles around noon on Sunday.
Owen is said to be in stable condition at the moment.

I know! I think they are trying to spin it that he's slitting his wrists over her, since now she's with Dax Shepard.

Owen Wilson Rushed To Hospital After Suicide Attempt

Los Angeles, CA (CNS) - Reports are circulating that Owen Wilson has attempted to commit suicide.
The usually happy-go-lucky actor was reportedly found in his home by a family member with slit wrists and medication bottles.
Wilson, known for his comic genius in films such as "Zoolander" and "You, Me and Dupree", was then taken to hospital and treated.
But the National Enquirer magazine and TMZ broke the story, claiming that Wilson attempted to end it all over the weekend.
National Enquirer editor-in-chief David Perel confirmed to Perezhilton.com, "Owen Wilson has now been transferred from St. John's to another Los Angeles area hospital. His brothers Andrew and Luke are with him. Andrew found him after the suicide attempt and called an ambulance. Both of Owen's wrists were slashed superficially and Owen had taken an overdose of pills. Owen was found with a nearly empty bottle of pills next to him. He was at his house in Santa Monica."
The actor, who recently broke up with actress Kate Hudson, was taken to hospital in an ambulance after a 911 call.
TMZ have been talking to the Santa Monica Police Department about the incident.
A spokesperson said, "On Sunday Aug. 26. 2007 at 12.10pm officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to a medical assistance call from the Santa Monica Fire Department at the 900 block of 23rd Street. The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated."
Wilson, famous for his happy and light-hearted persona, is rarely linked to the darker side of Hollywood - which is littered with stars such as Lindsay Lohan who are struggling with addiction.
