owww - my BUTT hurts!!!
I've had intermittant tailbone pain for the past couple weeks, but since Sunday, it's constant.
I have a desk job and even though I get up and move around as often as possible, it still hurts.
This morning, it hurt so bad on my 30 min drive in that i actually had tears in my eyes. I took a tylenol. I usually have a high tolerance for pain, too - I mean, I have ovarian cyst ruptures every couple months and take an advil to get through it...
I called the nurses line for my constant vomiting yesterday and asked them about this too. She said it's normal and it's just everything stretching and softening. It's probably exacerbated by the fact that I sit at a desk and the most i can do is sit on a boppy and take an occasional tylenol.
The only time I get true relief is laying down on my side or applying pressure directly to the tailbone.
Anyone else dealing with this?! What helps you?

YES! I had the same thing for a few weeks, right around your time! I used a heating pad when I was at home, and tried to walk around at work as much as possible...It did get better around 20 weeks--not sure if it was the baby's position, or something growing and stretching.

I wonder if sitting on one of those round tubes they make for hemroid sufferers might help alleviate some of that?

Sounds like it could be sciatica. I had that for about 3 weeks and it has subsided for the time-being.
I used a heating pad at home every night. The ladies on here said you can try physical therapy and my doc was going to send me to physical therapy and massage therapy.

I think the pillow I posted is plastic and I'm not sure how comfortable. The boppy is a great idea actually. Meet me at my place at lunchtime and you can try using it at work

Oh how I feel for you!!
I had the same exact thing when I was pregnant and now 2 1/2 years later, STILL get it. I was actually suffering last night. Sometimes heat works, last night I saw my butt on an ice pack believe it or not. Its SO PAINFUL!!! The doctor told me the same thing while I was pregnant, everything was stretching and what not but now apparently I still have it from pushing when I was in labor. I hope you're feeling better soon!!

This just started for me in the last few days. More on and off though.
My hips joint have been hurting/popping too but I've always had that happen (again, kinda just on occassion but I've been noticing it more frequently).
