Re: pacifer moms....
We actually had the same exact problem with DD, which is why I asked about the reflux. We have her on Axid, but I think that you might be having the same problem that we did.
For weeks, DD would wake up every single day between 4 and 5 - We were giving her her last bottle around 8 pm. I would give her the paci and she would go back to sleep, only to wake up a little bit later. Or, if I picked her up and brought her in our bed, she would sleep fine. It was driving me CRAZY!
One night we were out and I forgot to bring the Axid. She had her last bottle at 8 as usual, but didn't take the medicine until 11. That night she slept through, no problem! Apparently the medicine was only lasting in her system for around 9 hours. We have been giving her her last bottle around 10-11 and no more waking!
Before we realized about the medicine, she would wake up, but I could tell that she was not ready to get up and start the day and she definitely wasn't hungry. I guess that she was waking up and uncomfortable from the reflux.
Maybe try giving the medicine later and see if that makes a difference.
I am definitely happier to have her staying up later with us than to have to get up between 4 and 5 every day
