Pack and Play Question... SOrry so many questions ladies

About how long do the babies play in the pack and play till? Their one? two?

I'm only asking because I'm nervous as my husband wants to wait on buying a crib(Incase we end up buyign a house sooner than we thought) and I am so nervous about not having one...

Thanks!

EDIT: Thanks for making my argument so much easier with DH!!<3

ps- j/k we're not really fighting about it- just been talking about it ALOT lol. Last night i kinda zoned him out with his "And we should wait incase blahblah" and he was like "Um, hi?"Chat Icon

At least he's involved rightChat Icon

I believe that they are dependent on the baby's weight. I have 3 kids and never used one. In my opinion, get them use to a crib immediately.

I COMPLETELY agree...

I will not remove it from the registry because I know how important it is for the baby-

I think it depends on the child as well. My cousin's dd is 2 and she doesn't use it anymore, except for the changer. But,she said she can change the baby anywhere now and she's really too big for that changer anyway. She naps in her bed.

I would get the crib rather then the pnp if I had to choose only one. We plan on only using the pnp for the first few months really... for the changing station and also the fact of keeping baby in our bedroom for the first month or so. I can see us using it time to time once baby is bigger...like when i want to clean, but the crib should def. be essential. JMO

I also agree it depends on the weight. We are using it instead of getting a bassinet for the beginning. Also once we move into a house (hopefully very soon), I will keep it downstairs for napping & changing. As soon as Chat Icon can climb out of it, we will no longer be using it.
