Pack n play question
My boys are 8 weeks old. We have one pnp downstairs which during the day we usually keep one of our guys in it if he feels like it. We also have 2 rock n plays, a swing, and a bouncer so there is plenty of stuff for them.
At night we had them sleeping together in a pnp in our bedroom. They are getting too big to sleep in the pnp together so we transitioned them to their cribs last night.
My question is did you keep your twins in one pnp as they got bigger to play, hang out, etc.? DH wants to bring the second pnp downstairs now, but I'm wondering if I should give it to my MIL to use? For naps now, they pretty much sleep in the rock n plays and I figure when they get bigger, we could always put them in their cribs for naps.
Twin moms, did you use one or two pnp's? Thanks.

Re: Pack n play question
I have two pack n plays. I only use one as our down stairs changing station/storage. I keep extra clothes/bibs/washclothes/socks, so I don't have to keep running up n down all day.
I have a twin pack n play I plan to use for naps when we go out, grandmas house or travel (our house upstate). but during the day at home they are usually in their boppy, play mats, one of our swings, bouncy seats, bumbo, RNP and now we have a few jumpers and saucers....at 4 months old, my boys need a play room already. our LR is 30 ft long and totallllllllly overwhelmed with baby toys!! we keep them moving !
They nap only in their crib now. I am trying to enforce sleep=crib. They have been sleeping 8-8 since they were three months

Re: Pack n play question
My twins are 8 months old and I have 2 pack & plays. I still haven't used either one, but am starting to think about using them pretty soon, now that the babies are starting to sit up on their own. In the beginning, I'm thinking we will set one up in the family room, fill it with toys & have both of them sit in there to play. If they start to fight or there isn't enough room for both, I'd like to set both up. Once the jumperoo & exersaucer are put away I think we will have room for both pack & plays. Some twin moms I know use one pack & play for one to nap in (they put it in a different bedroom,) while the other naps in their crib. So far mine seem ok to nap in their cribs in the same room.

Re: Pack n play question
Once they got bigger I didn't use the pack n play so much for playing.
I did buy the square play pen from another twin mommy for them to play in and use it every so often...mostly to keep them contained if I need to leave the room for a minute. I also used it at the beach and outside a few times.
We do use 2 pack n plays when we travel or when we put the kids to bed at a friends house.
